Dinosaur Annex Music Ensemble is a leading presenter of chamber music of our time. The ensemble commissions, performs and records cutting-edge works from around the globe. Since its founding in 1975, the group has given hundreds of premieres, and its innovative repertoire embraces a wide range of music by celebrated modern masters as well as emerging composers. Members of the ensemble perform regularly with Boston’s finest musical organizations, including The Boston Symphony, The Boston Pops, The Boston Ballet, and The Handel + Haydn Society. The musicians work collectively with Co-Artistic Directors Yu-Hui Chang and Sue-Ellen Hershman-Tcherepnin to present first-quality, trailblazing concerts.

Eric Chasalow's 60th Birthday Concert - Boston Globe - 10/27/2015
... the opening “Due (Cinta)mani” (2002) ... was played with focus and intensity by pianist Donald Berman.... Yu-Hui Chang’s “A Long Overdue Sequel” for solo percussionist (played by Robert Schulz) ... was replete with rapid-fire changes of texture and dynamics.... David Rakowski’s “All That Chas” ..beautifully played by Diane Heffner, was unfailingly lyrical.

Classical Scene - 10/26/2014
... Dinosaur Annex Music Ensemble planned and executed admirably. The ensemble’s dedication to the new and usual makes it essential to Boston audiences. ...

Boston Globe - 10/25/2014
Dinosaur Annex, ... still makes its bones with premieres and emerging talents...

Boston Classical Review, 2/1/14
... Berman and violinist Gabriela Diaz employed an expressive but light touch that made the melody soar and the chromatic harmonies bite...
