Miami-based Dwight Banks’ showcases rhythmic vitality and visceral energy through enthusiastic dialogue among flute, violoncello, and piano. Bay Area composer Richard Festinger’s for violin, cello, and piano weaves intricate lines that intersperse moments of poignancy with more stringent musical passages. Boston-based Kathryn Salfelder’s meditative for solo piano, an inventive duo for violin and violoncello by Curtis Hughes, and a captivating solo flute piece by Andre Myers round out the program.Tre Tapestries Nocturno
