The first concert, “Playdate,” takes place Sat. Nov. 9 at Rock & Roll Daycare in East Cambridge. In response to the difficulties parents encounter when seeking family-friendly concerts that aren’t only designed for children, “Playdate” encourages parents and children to discard typical concert etiquette by not worrying about “silence” or sitting still. The audience is free to move around while parents maintain a safe yet liberating environment. In partnership with Rock & Roll Daycare, this informal daytime performance welcomes audience members of all ages.
